1. Groundwork. Thanks to an incredibly difficult horse named Pip, and in seek of help and knowledge, Kelly sought out the very best horseman she could access. Working with and learning from these people changed everything about the way Kelly trains, thinks about and communicates with horses. Pip will always hold a special place in Kelly's heart.
2. Flatwork. 90% of showjumping (hunters or jumpers) is flatwork. We're only in the air for seconds. Kelly's program emphasizes accurate, correct and harmonious flatwork.
3. Gymnastics and Course Work. Between shows, most jumping will consist of gymnastics and jumping exercises. Kelly believes in teaching rideability, suppleness, and correct form for horse and rider. Once these fundamentals have become proficient, course riding is easy!
